Position Overview
As an SDR Intern, you will support the sales team by generating leads, reaching out to prospects, and learning the core skills of SaaS sales. This role is ideal for law students or recent graduates who are curious about sales and the intersection of law and technology. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while working closely with experienced sales professionals, providing a unique opportunity to learn about legal tech and build foundational sales skills. This position involves regular client interaction, both virtually and in-person, and requires travel.
The day-to-day
Lead Generation & Outreach

Conduct targeted research to identify potential clients in the legal sector, leveraging your understanding of legal workflows and terminology.

Initiate contact with potential clients via email, social media, and phone to create awareness of jhana.ai’s offerings.

Schedule introductory meetings for the sales team with qualified leads.
CRM and Pipeline Management

Update and maintain accurate records of lead interactions and progress within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Assist with pipeline management, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads through the sales funnel.
Sales Strategy Support

Collaborate with SDRs and Account Managers to tailor messaging strategies for prospects in the legal industry.

Participate in team discussions to share insights gained from prospecting and to refine outreach techniques.
Performance Tracking

Track outreach activities (e.g., emails sent, calls made, responses received) and report weekly metrics.

Collect feedback on messaging effectiveness and suggest improvements to enhance lead engagement.
Qualifications & Skills

Law Background (Preferred): Currently studying law or a recent law graduate with an interest in legal technology and how AI can improve legal workflows.

Interest in Sales and Tech: Eager to learn about SaaS sales and the applications of technology in the legal field.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with an ability to clearly articulate ideas and engage professionally with legal professionals.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records of prospect interactions.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online research tools, social media platforms, and open to learning CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
